1823shopping_bagThe St. Andrew’s annual Winter Bazaar will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Bazaar committee needs workers for all shifts. The sign up sheet is in the parish hall.

In addition to helper (and shoppers), the committee needs paper shopping bags (not paper grocery bags). If you shop at stores that use them (Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Bath and Body Works, Crate and Barrel, etc.), please save them and bring them to the church no later than the morning of Friday, Nov. 6th. Any size will do!

New sign is up and dedicated

September 13, 2009

DSCF7648St Andrew’s has a new sign!

A big thanks to all of those parishioners who erected the new sign and the new preschool sign on Saturday. The new signs have and updated look and are located closer to Route 4, making them easier for passing motorists to see. Click here for pictures of the construction process and today’s dedication ceremony.

Celtic Knot EmblemOn Saturday evening, August 22nd at 7:30, Mason Sebastian and his group, Celtic Knot, will be performing in the parish hall to benefit the church’s organ fund.

Mason has been as part of the church’s annual Sanford Concert Series and specializes in Irish music and folk songs. He is a wonderful guitarist and songster. The cost for the evening is $10 for adults and $5 for students. No reservations required. Just come and have a fun summer’s evening. Fun and frivolity is guaranteed.

If you have any questions, please call Lynn Schramm at 301-862-9541. And if you have a free hour on Saturday morning, Lynn could use some help setting up the parish hall.
